I <3 Summer Tag

I'm finally back guys! I know that I've not posted for about a month and a half now and I do feel bad about it because I originally said that I was just having a few weeks off whilst I did my exams. However, once I'd done my exams I really just wanted to relax for a week or so without having to do anything so I thought that I'd have another week off. I was fully intending to start blogging again a couple of weeks ago but I've just not felt like it and I didn't know what to post so I thought that rather than make myself do something that I didn't want to and produce posts that I wasn't happy with I thought I'd wait until I felt like blogging again so that I didn't start seeing this blog as a chore.
So, after that ramble, I'm back today with the I <3 Summer Tag to ease me back into blogging after I saw it on Ingrid's (MissGlamorazzi) YouTube channel.
1. Favourite bronzer for summer?
I'm not really that into bronzers but the one I'm using at the minute is the Natural Collection Suntint Bronzing Powder (Currently on 3 for £5 at Boots)
2. You're relaxing in a hammock, on a tropical island. What are you sipping on? (Favourite summer drink?)
Anything cold and refreshing! Probably flavoured water or Apple juice.
3. Favourite Summer Lip Product?
I love the Blistex Lip Brilliance Blushing because it contains SPF15 and adds colour to the lips as well as being mega moisturising. A bargain for £2.61 at Boots if you ask me!
4. Pool or Beach?
Tough one, I love relaxing at the beach and going in the sea but I also love swimming in pools. I'd probably say beach so long as the sea was fairly clean!
5. Summer = Crazy hair! Must-have styling product?
My VO5 Smoothly Does It Tame & Shine Spray which also contains heat defence (not sure if this is still available or not as I couldn't find it on either the Boots or the Superdrug website). Although, to be fair I prefer to not use too much on my hair and just put it up instead.
6. Sunbathing or fake tan?
Sunbathing because it gives me chance to relax at the same time.
7. Favourite summer nail polish?
I tend to wear a lot of different nail polishes in summer but I love wearing Rimmel 60 Second Nail Polish in Shocker, especially on my toes (Boots)
8. Any summer traditions?
Not really apart from the fact that me and my parents always go on holiday at about the exact same time every year and we always go to Norfolk.
9. Favourite Summer Scent?
It tends to change every year but always something light and fruity or floral. This year I'm loving Avon's Make Me Smile which is fresh lemony, limey scent which sounds a bit weird but smells amazing.
10. Favourite BBQ food?
A good old beef burger with onion, cheese and burger sauce!
11. What's your favourite summer-proof product?
This year its my Avon Ideal Flawless Light Foundation (Currently half-price for a £5! Bargain!)
12. Any summer vacation plans this year? No plans? Tell us about your dream summer trip!
I'm going to Hunstanton with my parents. My dream summer trip would be somewhere like Spain or Greece.
I've really enjoyed writing this blog post. It's good to be back! Hope you've enjoyed it and have a good day. I should be getting back to my once a week posting (although I may miss the one week when I'm on holiday if I don't have Wi-Fi. Which I'm praying we do!) I tag all of you guys to do this tag and if you do, let me know in the comments so that I can check it out.
Much love,

Sorry that posts have been a bit sparse recently, its just that I'm doing my exams so have been busy revising. I'll try and get back to normal as soon as I can. So, today I thought I'd do a post on exercise which was one of my new years resolutions. I was doing well with this until I had a week or two off over Easter because I didn't have much time and couldn't really be all that bothered. Since then I've not been eating all that healthily or doing much exercise, I've really struggled to get back on track. So, I thought I'd do a bit of a motivation post because when I put my new years resolutions post up a few of you said that you were trying to do more exercise as well.

All images from Fresh, Clean, Fit! Tumblr:
These are a few of my favourite fitness, motivation quotes. There are a lot more that pop up on my Tumblr dashboard that I love but I thought that I'd keep it to four otherwise this blogpost would be far too long!
I thought I'd also share a few of my favourite workouts with you as well:

These are my two favourite workouts because they are so simple and easy to do, you don't need anything and you can do them anywhere at any time. I also like doing Cassie for Blogilates workouts (Blog: YouTube: and following the Tone It Up (Blog: YouTube: girls workouts and the series they do.
I hope that you all liked this post and that it was helpful to a few of you. I think that I'll do a similar post on Healthy Eating soon as well if you want it. I know this post was quite long but I hope you like it! Let me know in the comments if there are any posts that you want me to do.
Please check out my Twitter as well:

The Fashion Tag

So I know that this is quite an old tag but heyho, hope you enjoy it:
1.How would you describe your style?
Comfy and probably quite basic but with a bit of a twist.
2. What are your wardrobe staples?
Black leggings definitely! And colourful tops.
3.Most expensive item in your wardrobe?
My Oasis handbag that I got last year for £40 because I don't really buy expensive clothing.
4. Most wanted item?
Prada Celine bag in black.
5. Favourite designer?
Don't really have one but I quite like Dior.
6. How much do you spend on clothes?
Not very much, I don't really see the point in spending a lot on clothes.
7. What are your favourite places to shop?
Primark, New look, Internacionale and H&M.
8. What's your favourite fragrance?
At the minute, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck.
9. What's your favourite way to do your hair?
Natural, I don't really have the time or the patience to style my hair most days.
10. What is your go-to outfit when you don't know what to wear?
Black leggings and a bright shirt with black ballet pumps or wedge hi-tops.
11. One fashion trend you wish would come back or stay?
Bright colours because they look amazing and always brighten up my day.
12. Your most prized possession in your wardrobe?
Probably my thick black leggings that I've had for ages and that have lasted really well and that I wear all the time. Either that or my black, studded, wedge hi-tops.
So, I hope that you enjoyed this tag and I tag all of you guys to do it, if you do let me know in the comments and I'll check it out. Also, let me know if there are any posts that you want me to do.

Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama Mascara Review

So, today I thought I'd do a review of my new favourite mascara, Maybelline The Falsies Black Drama. I 'd seen a lot of reviews of this mascara and Tanya Burr always raves about it so I thought I'd go out and buy it because I needed a new mascara. I really like this mascara. I only need one coat of this and my lashes are done whereas with my old mascara I needed a few coats. This goes on really nicely and makes your lashes really long and thick without them going clumpy. I think its especially great because of the price (£7.99) as I've tried other mascaras that have been about the same price and they've been nowhere near as good.
The only negatives to this mascara are that it tends to flake if you have it on all day but it usually lasts until I get in from school so I'm not really that bothered it also tends to smudge all around your eyes if you ever cry whilst you're wearing it. On the whole, I really like this mascara and will definitely repurchase it in the future. Have you guys ever tried it? What did you think? Let me know in the comments if there are any blog posts that you want me to do as always.

Where to find me

So, I know that this post is late this week but better late than never. I thought I'd just do a quick post letting you know where you can find me.
Follow me on any of these if you want to find out more about me or Kik me if you want to talk to me or anything. Let me know in the comments if you have any of these and I'll be sure to check it out. Also, remember to let me know if there are any posts that you want me to do.
Much love,

The Shopaholic Tag!

So, I thought I'd do the Shopaholic tag today. Hope you like it:
1. Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
Yes. Whenever I go shopping I always end up buying something - I just can't help it! I always see something that I like and something that I "need".
2. How would you classify your style?
Comfy, for sure, I never wear anything if it's uncomfortable. I do sometimes follow trends but only if I like them and they suit me.
3. What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing?
Primark definitely. It's all so cheap!
 4. Where do you find the best deals?
Again, Primark or sometimes TK Maxx.
5. What designer are you willing to splurge for?
I don't splurge for a specific designer but I'm willing to splurge for a good handbag.
6. Do you have a "go-to" shopping outfit?
Something comfy and easy to get off, usually leggings and T-shirt or vest top and a cardi.
7. What is your guilty pleasure? (Aside from make-up)
Handbags! Definitely.
8. What is one staple clothing piece you cannot live without?
Thick, black leggings. They go with anything and are so comfy!
9. What is a trend you hope never goes out of style?
Prints and pops of bright colours.
10. What trend did you love that passed way to quickly?
Not really sure on this one, I don't think there really is one to be honest.
11. Who is your style icon?
Partly Lauren Conrad and Michelle Keegan but I just tend to wear what I want and don't specifically copy one person or anything.
So, that is the Shopaholic tag. Hope you liked it :) I tag all of you guys to do this tag and if you do let me know in the comments and I'll check it out. Also, remember to let me know if there are any posts that you want me to do.

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty Tag

So, I thought I'd do this tag today, I know it's a bit old but heyho.
What is your most expensive and inexpensive beauty item?
I don't really have any expensive beauty items apart from the Benefit "that gal" brightening face primer. My most inexpensive would be my MUA lipsticks (Review:
What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
Eyeliner, definitely. I love the way it looks but I hate applying it because I can never get it quite how I want it. Probably the MUA products when they first came out because I was so desperate to try them but nowhere near me stocked them to begin with.
What are your most delicious beauty products?
My Lush Sweet Lips lip scrub and my Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm.
What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Eyeshadow, I love it but it just takes too long to apply on an everyday basis.
What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Probably my tinted moisturiser or my concealer, life-savers!
What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
A good personality and sense of humour. Look-wise, which comes second, tall, dark haired and a great smile.
What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
Probably perfume, I think it makes a great gift for everyone.

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume

So, I thought that I'd do a post on the Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume after I featured it in my January Favourites. I absolutely love this perfume, I think its amazing and great for everyday wear. As I'm not very good at describing scents I thought I'd use the actual description of it: "A charming and sparkling surprise of vibrant fruits, kissed by a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgence." I would basically say that its fruity and floral without being too sweet. I also really like the packaging - it would look amazing on a dressing table!
This is definitely my favourite perfume by far and if you like fruity and floral perfumes I would definitely recommend you to go out and by this NOW. Stop what your doing and go! Its AMAZING!!!
(Unless you hadn't already realised, I love it! Hehe)
Its available to buy in Boots and most fragrance shops and is priced at £20 for 30ml, £29 for 50ml (currently on offer in Boots for £19.33) and £38 for 100ml.

January Favourites

I'm sorry that I didn't post last week it's just that I had exams and I wasn't sure what post to do but here's a favourites post for you. I probably won't do one of these every month as I don't tend to try out many new products but I'll do them every once in a while.
1. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil - Not a miracle worker but really helps clear up spots
2. Natural Collection Tinted Moisturiser - A rediscovered favourite and I still love it just as much!
3. Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation - Great for when I need a bit more coverage than a tinted moisturiser ( I did a review of it here:
4. Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer - Great for dark circles
5. Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume - Smells absolutely amazing!
So, I hope you liked this post. Let me know if there are any other posts you want me to do in the comments

Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation Review

Today, I'm going to be reviewing the Rimmel London Match Perfection Foundation.
I'd seen quite a lot of people raving about this and I was in need of a new foundation at the time so I thought that I'd give a whirl. And I LOVE it! It is amazing. It gives great coverage, they do a wide range of colours, it doesn't look cakey or greasy on the skin and it's easy to blend.
So overall, I think that this foundation is amazing and I'd recommend it to you all.
It is available from most Supermarkets that stock Rimmel and from most Boots and Superdrug stores:
Much Love,
P.S. Sorry this is a short post, its just that I don't have much time and I didn't really have much else to say about the foundation except from its amazing!

Being Healthier!

So today I thought I'd do a post on being healthier because this is one of my new years resolutions and a few of you said that you had similar resolutions so I thought it might helpful for a couple of you. I'm not trying to lose weight or anything with this I just want to be healthier because its just generally good for you and I'm hoping that it will help with my skin as its not that great (especially after all of the junk food over Christmas!)
So, here are the things that I'm going to try and stick to:
1) Don't deprive yourself of anything! This will just make you crave it even more, eat everything that you want to, even if its unhealthy, just eat it all in moderation. For instance, if your a chocoholic (like me!) just eat a couple of pieces of chocolate a day.
2) Cut down on dairy. Dairy products contain quite a lot of calories and are not that good for your skin as dairy can cause you to break out. Don't entirely cut it out of your diet as you do need some dairy, just don't eat too much!
3) Try and not snack as much! This is quite a big one for me as I always seem to find myself snacking, even when I'm not really that hungry. I'm going to aim to eat a slightly bigger breakfast which will then hopefully fill me up and keep me going until lunch. I'm going to then allow myself to have a snack once I get in from school before dinner. I'm also going to have a small, light snack after dinner.
4) Make healthier choices. Not all of the time as we're always going to have unhealthy days where we're just going to sit there and pig out! But, if I have a choice between something like a pizza or a salad wrap, I'm going to go for the wrap just so that its that my diets that little bit better!
5) Water. I hardly ever usually drink water so I'm going to try to drink about 4 glasses a day. I know they say that you should aim to drink 8 glasses but I think that's a bit much for me, to go from no water to 8 glasses! So I'm just going to try to at least drink some water every day.
So, I hope that this was useful to some of you. Let me know in the comments if your trying to do any of the things above and we can encourage each other along the way :)
Much Love,
